Liverpool bounced back from the draw at Old Trafford with a 2-1 win over Tottenham on Sunday.
Jordan Henderson cancelled out Harry Kane’s fortuitous early goal, before Mohamed Salah converted a penalty in front of the Kop, confirming the three points.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are back to six points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
Earlier in the week, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a brace away to Genk in the Champions League, helping the Reds to a 4-1 victory.
Liverpool sit just one point behind Napoli in Group E, halfway through the group stage.
As the season progresses, we will continue to work out who sits in the top five of our Power Rankings, determining who Liverpool’s most influential and consistent individuals are.
Here’s who tops the pile after Gameweek 10 of the season…
5 - Andy Robertson
Last Week: Not Ranked.
The Scotland captain has been banging on the door of the Power Rankings for weeks now – Joel Matip’s injury finally sees the left-back included.
Not much can be said about Robertson that hasn’t been said 100 times – he is the best left-back in the world.
His link-up with Mane has been sensational of late.
4 - Roberto Firmino
Last Week: 2
The engine of the Liverpool attack, ‘Bobby’ doesn’t always get the plaudits he deserves.
He produced a beautiful rabona pass that sent Mane through on goal against Genk – unfortunately, the Senegalese didn’t find the finish that the pass warranted.
His dummy for Adam Lallana’s goal at Manchester United once again displayed his genius that isn’t shown on the scoresheet, too.
3 - Trent Alexander-Arnold
Last Week: 3
The best attacking full-back on the planet, Alexander-Arnold continues to be at the focal point of Liverpool’s build-up play.
Whether it is switching the play to Robertson, whipping in a deep cross or firing in a low ball at the byline, the 21-year-old is a nightmare to play against.
2 - Mohamed Salah
Last Week: 4
Salah is back in form and back in the goals.
Injury and confidence seemed to wain in the early parts of October, but the Egyptian now has goals in back-to-back games after missing the United clash.
Let’s hope he is available for Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa, having hobbled off against Spurs.
1 - Sadio Mane
Last Week: 1
The Senegalese star has been Liverpool’s best player in 2019 and he continues that trend.
He retains top spot in the Power Rankings.
Mane leads the way with nine goals in all competitions, scoring a late effort away to Genk and then winning the all-important penalty against Spurs.
One of the best players in the world on current form.
