Liverpool got their Premier League season underway with a 4-1 win over Norwich City at Anfield and whilst Roberto Firmino didn’t score in the game, he was still voted as Man of the Match by the club’s supporters.

An own goal from Grant Hanley, plus efforts from Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Divock Origi earned the Reds three points but Bobby Firmino was the man who these fans couldn’t wait to praise.

Then, as is often the case on Twitter, these fans used some GIFs to show their support to the Brazilian.

However, not every fan agreed with Firmino being given the Man of the Match award.
