Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed two key Reds are approaching a return to full fitness.

The German has been without Naby Keita and Joe Gomez for a number of weeks due to hamstring and calf problems respectively.

However, the pair were spotted back involved in training on Thursday and Klopp was asked about their likely returns to the fold during the pre-Wolves press conference.

So far this season Gomez has made seven appearances across all competitions whilst Keita had been impressive in 10 outings prior to the latest in a ling-line of setbacks.

A huge boost to the squad ahead of the busiest part of the season.

These returnees leave only Curtis Jones, Roberto Firmino and Harvey Elliott sidelined out of those in contention to feature in Klopp’s regular first-team plans.

All three are seemingly nearing their own comebacks and Kopites can be hopeful of a fully fit squad to choose from in the not too distant future.

Next weeks clash at AC Milan presents a viable option to give Keita and Gomez important minutes with Champions League qualification already secured.
