The Premier League season is well underway and we have already seen some fine performances from the Reds.

After just five games Liverpool sits joint-top of the league with 4 wins and 1 draw, along with Chelsea and Man Utd.

Their form and performances have been a world away from what we saw at times last season.

One of the main differences is the return and strengthening of the club’s central defensive options.

However, as per usual, Mohamed Salah has hit the ground running once again, with FIFA 22 already recognising this.

The game is due to release on 1st October but can be played sooner with the Early Access edition.

With that came the first Team of the Week yesterday, with Salah already making the cut after his Crystal Palace performance…

It is great to see Salah getting the praise he deserves for what he does for the club week in and week out.

Although FIFA may be seen as minimal in some people eyes, it is simple recognition for his incredible performances.

Many fans of the game will be delighted to see such a great Team of the Week card so early on in the game.

Despite the game not being fully released yet, players will no doubt be keeping their fingers crossed over packing him.

Hopefully, the Egyptian King will be able ot carry on this fine form throughout the season.

Liverpool will be hoping to make a bigger impression than they did last campaign and they’re going the right way.

With their flying start in the league and Champions League, the Reds will be looking to add more silverware to the trophy cabinet.

An in form Salah will be key to this, so let’s hope we see more performances on the pitch, whether EA recognises it or not.
