Barcelona keen on bringing in Klopp as manager next summer

Barcelona are keen on bringing in Jurgen Klopp as manager next summer, according to Okdiario.

The German has completely transformed Liverpool since arriving in October 2015. Slowly but surely, he has improved the team, turning the Reds from top-four hopefuls into Champions League and Premier League winners.

Klopp’s contract at Anfield runs until 2024, but this new report claims Joan Laporta wants him to become manager under him, should he win the Barca presidential election.

Ronald Koeman is the current man in charge at the Nou Camp, but he has made an unconvincing start, with Barca sitting 12th in La Liga.

This is a rumour that will no doubt spread fear among some Liverpool supporters, with Klopp the key to everything that has happened in recent years.

The 53-year-old is the best manager in the world currently, in my opinion, not only playing superb football and proving to be a great man-manager, but also backing it up with silverware.

I don’t see a scenario where Klopp joins Barca next summer, however, with the German a man of his word who will see out his contract at Liverpool.

The hope, of course, is that he ends up extending his stay at Anfield beyond 2024.
