Fabinho, James Milner and Diogo Jota could potentially return for Liverpool’s clash with Sheffield United this weekend, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.
The Reds make the trip to Bramall Lane on Sunday evening, looking to avoid the misery of five Premier League defeats in a row.
It is simply a must-win game for the champions, who are now in real danger of missing out on a top-four finish.
Speaking at his press conference on Friday, Klopp confirmed that Fabinho, Milner and Jota will all have trained by Sunday:
Klopp on Fabinho & Jota: "Diogo trained twice, looks very good. Was out long-term we will see. In training, he looks promising. Fab not with the team, he will back in training tomorrow. Same with James [Milner]. All others are long term." #LFC

It is a big relief to see some of Liverpool’s injury problems easing, especially with Jordan Henderson now out for the foreseeable future.
In truth, Jota looks the most likely to feature on Sunday, considering he has been training alongside his colleagues this week, and him being another attacking option for Klopp is huge.
Fabinho and Milner will only be back for one day on Saturday, however, so their involvement appears to be much more up in the air.
That means Ozan Kabak, Nathaniel Phillips and Ben Davies could fight for a starting berth in Fabinho’s absence, in what would be another makeshift centre-back pairing.
