Liverpool were imperious on Sunday night, thrashing Wolves 4-0 at Anfield and returning to second place in the Premier League.
It was a special evening on Merseyside, as 2,000 supporters were allowed back into the Reds’ world-famous stadium, and they were treated to a superb performance.
Wolves actually made a bright start to proceedings, but Mohamed Salah fired Liverpool in front, capitalising on Conor Coady’s mistake.
After the break, Jurgen Klopp’s men pulled away, with Gini Wijnaldum and Joel Matip both finding the net.
Nelson Semedo scored an own goal to complete the scoring, on a perfect night for Liverpool.
It was a perfect display, in many ways, with a clean sheet recorded and some scintillating attacking football on show.
Not a single Liverpool player performed badly at Anfield, with many in the running for the Match of the Match award at the final whistle.
Here’s how we rated the Reds’ starting XI at Anfield…
Caoimhin Kelleher - 8
Kelleher was superb between the sticks, not putting a foot wrong all evening.
The youngster looks a stronger option than Adrian already, showing expert decision-making and organisational skills.
Neco Williams - 7
Williams got booked early and looked nervy, but grew into the game hugely.
He isn’t the finished article, but he is learning all the time and provided quality down the right flank.
Joel Matip - 8
Matip is in imperious form and that continued on Sunday night.
Not only was he a rock at the back, but he also headed home Liverpool’s third goal, celebrating joyously in front of the Kop.
Fabinho - 8
Fabinho looks like he has played at centre-back for his whole career.
This was yet another faultless showing at the back, with few players in Liverpool’s squad more intelligent.
He and Matip are forging a great partnership.
Andy Robertson - 9 (Man of the Match)
We are giving Man of the Match to Robertson, who was outstanding all night at Anfield.
Providing constant quality and energy from left-back, the Scot was also excellent defensively, keeping Adama Traore as quiet as possible.
The best left-back on the planet.
Jordan Henderson - 9
Henderson is such a key man these days and he was fantastic against Wolves, bossing the midfield.
He teed-up Wijnaldum for his goal and was brimming with class and leadership throughout the game.
What a captain.
Gini Wijnaldum - 9
Wijnaldum was arguably even better than Henderson, but there was very little in it.
Not only did the Dutchman show off his usual understated brilliance in midfield, he also curled home beautifully to put Liverpool 2-0 up.
Sign the contract, Gini!
Curtis Jones - 8
Jones already looks a dominant player in this Liverpool team – it is so easy to forget he is only 19 years of age.
The boyhood Reds supporter looked completely at home next to Henderson and Wijnaldum, making tackles, running endlessly and showing quality on the ball.
Mohamed Salah - 9
Salah was close to his incredible best at Anfield, again producing end product in the final third.
The 28-year-old finished clinically to open the scoring, before turning provider for Matip’s goal.
There were times when he was unplayable.
Sadio Mane - 8
Mane has been slightly below par in recent weeks, but he was much improved against Wolves.
Some of the touches he produced were outrageous, and he twisted an turned the visitors’ defenders into submission at times.
The only thing missing was a goal.
Roberto Firmino - 8
Firmino showed signs of clicking into top gear again, in what was a highly entertaining performance.
One scissor-kicked pass was out of this world and he worked tirelessly for the team.
