Liverpool returned to Premier League action last night following their European Super League announcement.

The Reds ran out a 1-1 draw with Leeds United in a game far from the performance for a European super power.

Following the game, pundits in the Sky Sports studio discussed the impact this could have on the clubs involved.

Jamie Carragher quickly went on to address the impact it could have for Liverpool and owners FSG.

The former Red stated that if Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was to leave the club because of the news, the owners would find themselves ran out of the club within a week…

It is hard to disagree with Carragher on this one.

As he states, if Jurgen Klopp were to leave the club due to the move, the fans will run them out of the club no doubt.

Liverpool are a club for the people and always have been – and to see Klopp leave due to this decision could cause pandemonium.

“Out within a week” is the overriding words that sit with Reds fans during Carragher’s rant.

Whats worse is that he is spot on. Liverpool fans will not stand to see a manager such as Klopp leave due to their greed.

FSG haven’t always been a fan favourite but this decision has completely ruined every aspect of their tenure as owners.

The sooner this decision is overturned the better.

Football is not about profit margins and the sooner that billionaire owners realise that, the better.
