Liverpool face German giants Borussia Dortmund in their first pre-season game of the USA Tour at the Notre Dame Stadium.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have already played two pre-season games so far, winning both of them against Tranmere Rovers and Bradford City.

However, in terms of getting the squad tested ahead of the new season, a game against Dortmund is ideal for most of the players.

So far in the two games, the manager has played 22 players, 11 in each half in order to take a look at almost everyone and not exert much on them.

Several young players were on show during those encounters and they are expected to get the chance in America too.

With established players like Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Georginio Wijnaldum back, Klopp has a wider squad to pick his line-ups from for this game.
